Content Moderation & Approval Policy
To ensure consistency, uniformity, and standardization, authorized Content Managers from Groups/Divisions of the ICAR -NIAP are responsible for contributing content along with associated metadata and keywords.
To maintain authenticity, accuracy, and currency, officers contributing content must thoroughly verify its authenticity and accuracy before submitting it to the Web Information Manager (WIM) for publication on the website.
The following steps outline the procedure for content contribution, moderation, and approval before posting on the website:
- Creation: Generate new content or modify existing content as needed.
- Modification: Update and revise content as required.
- Approval: Obtain approval for the contributed or modified content.
- Moderation: Subject the content to moderation to ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Publishing: Once approved and moderated, publish the content on the website.
- Expiry: Monitor content for relevance and update or remove as necessary.
- Archival: Archive content that has reached the end of its lifecycle.
All officers and divisions should adhere to this process to maintain the authenticity, accuracy, and relevance of the content on the website. Content undergoes a thorough life-cycle process, ensuring that only approved and moderated content is published, and outdated content is appropriately managed.
